  • Albert Arnold Gore is a Democrat who served as the 45th vice president of the United States (1993–2001) under President Bill Clinton. Before becoming vice president, Gore was a U.S. congressman for 16 years, serving in the House of Representatives (1977–1985) and in the Senate (1985–1993) as a representative of Tennessee.
