  • Albert Venn Dicey was a British jurist whose constitutional theory proved remarkably influential among scholars, politicians, civil servants, and lawyers. For much of the twentieth century, the dominant view of the constitution revolved around Dicey's work, especially his emphasis on parliamentary sovereignty.
