Asa Hilliard
Definition
- Asa Grant Hilliard III was an African-centered educator, historian, and psychologist who wrote more than a thousand publications, inspired numerous students, and was enstooled as a development chief for Mankranso, Ghana, where he was given the name, Nana Baffour Amankwatia II, which means generous one. This seemed particularly fitting for someone whose life's work was firmly rooted in disseminating truth, sharing knowledge, and enhancing a comprehensive curriculum on the contributions of African people.
