Definition
- In an effort to combat drug use, the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1998 established the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) to oversee the country's domestic and international drug control policies. The ONDCP issues an annual National Drug Control Strategy (NDCS) report, which details efforts designed to prevent and reduce the production, distribution, use, and impact of illegal drugs.
