Stephen H. Schneider

- Stephen H. Schneider (1945–2010) was an American climatologist and professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, a senior fellow at the Center for Environment Science and Policy of the Institute for International Studies, and a professor by courtesy in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University from September 1992 until his death. Schneider was an outspoken advocate of the global warming theory since the 1980s and helped draw public attention to the issue of climate change.
