Definition
- Syrian Americans are the immigrants and their descendants from Syria, a country of 19.9 million, as of 2007 estimates. Syrian Americans represent one of the many diverse groups of the Arab nation—including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, the Republic of Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates.
