Definition
- Begun in 1986, the Uruguay Round was the largest round of trade negotiations under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), with 123 countries participating. The negotiations of the Uruguay Round had a very broad agenda and included agreements pertaining to trade in agriculture, manufactured goods, services, intellectual property, and other products.
