Definition
- Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was British politician and statesman, Nobel laureate in literature, prime minister from 1940 to 1945 and 1951 to 1955, and a leader of the free world in World War II. He is the son of a possible alcoholic, Lord Randolph Churchill, whose early death was, however, not ascribed to alcoholism and who spoke out against heavy drinking, and the father of a probable alcoholic, Randolph Churchill.
