Definition
- The casino card game Baccarat has its origins in late Medieval Italy. Legend has it that it was invented by an Italian gambler named Felix Falguierein, who used a deck of Tarot cards and claimed that the game was based on an Etruscan mythical ritual involving a virgin throwing a nine-sided dice.
