- Code Pink: Women for Peace is a political activist group founded in 2002 to protest the United States military involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq. With reference to the Bush administration's color-coded terrorist threat warnings, the group has used symbols of feminine sexuality and gender norms in its performance activism.
