Definition
- Convenience voting is the term used to describe the broad array of methods used in contemporary democracies to make it easier for citizens to cast ballots. Types of convenience voting include absentee voting (and no-excuse absentee voting), early in-person voting, voting by mail, and various forms of electronic voting, such as voting by fax or Internet.
