Definition
- Exposure to environmental toxins has widespread effects on health and behavior. This issue has been a significant scientific concern for at least 50 years, and for the past two decades it has informed a growing knowledge base in a segment of law enforcement and criminal justice known variously as green criminology, environmental criminology, or environmental justice.
