falling in love
Definition
- Falling in love is the onset of a strong desire for a close, romantic relationship with a particular person—the transition from not being in love to being in love. Falling in love appears to be a universal phenomenon, appearing in every culture for which data are available, in every historical era, and in every age group, from 4- to 100-year-olds and beyond.
