family leadership
Definition
- Although families have existed since the dawn of time, only recently have social scientists from the disciplines of family sociology, family therapy, family and consumer science, and family psychology viewed families as an arena for studying leadership. Using terms such as family power, family decision making, family governance, and family organization, these researchers have accumulated a substantial body of knowledge about how leadership emerges and evolves in families.
