Definition
- Home schooling is defined as educating children within the home, as opposed to participation in structured public or private educational systems. Although in the 1970s, it was associated only with those on the fringes of the political spectrum, home schoolers have gradually become a more diverse group, and home schooling is increasingly accepted as an alternative form of education.
