media against communalism
Definition
- Communalism, the strife between Hindu and Muslim communities, has been a part of the Indian social and political fabric for decades. The term is normal in South Asia to refer to what elsewhere is often called religious sectarianism, although the wellsprings of both typically include powerful economic and political vectors, not simply religious ones.
