Definition
- Media literacy is the ability to understand and critique messages via radio, film, television, the print media, and the Internet. On average, people in the United States spend one third of their lives immersed in media, whether this takes the form of watching television, film, or videos; listening to music; reading print magazines and books; or surfing on the Internet.
