rape law reform
Definition
- Rape law reform has been an ongoing process virtually since women won the right to vote in the early 1900s. Reformers have expressed persistent frustration that despite laws that forbid rape, the crime continues to occur at epidemic rates and yet has remained the most underreported and under-prosecuted of all major felonies.
