rioting
Definition
- Rioting has been a means by which groups of people have acted outside the law, primarily to show their anger at a particular group of people or their frustration with government institutions. The most wellknown riots in the United States, and the ones that have given riots an urban image, were the riots in many major U.S. cities from 1964 to 1968.
