Definition
- CANCER IS PRESENT with few variations all around the globe and is responsible for 20 percent to 25 percent of all deaths, being the second-leading cause of death; thus, programs against cancer are implemented all over the world. Partnerships are becoming more frequent between public and private sectors (connecting governments, health organizations, universities, private companies, and so on), and are aimed at projecting and implementing interventions to improve the population's general health and reduce the incidence of and mortality from cancer.
