Definition
- The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) operates under the auspices of the Department of Health and Human Services and is charged with promoting the health and general well-being of children, families, and local communities. The mission of ACF is to encourage Americans to achieve economic independence and productivity within their own communities in ways that best serve the interests of the nation's children and families.
