Definition
- The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Education Amendments (ADAEA; 1978) were established to coordinate alcohol and drug abuse educational efforts at the state and federal levels. They were an extension of the Drug Abuse Office and Treatment Act (DAOTA) of 1972 (21 U.S.C. ss. [Source: Encyclopedia of Drug Policy; Alcohol and Drug Abuse Education Amendments (1978)]
