Definition
- THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION for Cancer Education (AACE) was founded in 1967 as a reorganization of an earlier cancer education group, called the Coordinators of Cancer Teaching (CCT). The CCT was founded in 1947 by a group of cancer educators from U.S. medical and dental schools whose primary concern was to enhance cancer education in medical schools.
