Definition
- Established in 1937 as the Health Division of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD), the American Association for Health Education (AAHE) has been an independent organization since 1973. The organization represents more than 7,500 health educators and specialists and is the oldest and largest group of its kind in the United States.
