Definition
- THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD) is a nonprofit international society dedicated to supporting personnel in the medical dosimetry field. A medical dosimetrist works in collaboration with a radiation oncologist and a medical physicist to determine the best avenue for radiation treatment of a tumor.
