Definition
- Armenia is a landlocked Eurasian country of almost 3 million people, sharing borders with Turkey, Iran, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. In the 4th century, Armenia became the first country to formally adopt Christianity, and today over 90 percent of the population identifies with the Armenian Apostolic Church.
