- The Association for International Cancer Research (AICR) is an independent, Scottish-based charity that funds research by leading scientists around the world into the cause and prevention of cancer. The association supports fundamental research into the causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer with an emphasis on scientific rather than clinical research.
