Bogalusa Heart Study
Definition
- Background In 1972, the long-term investigation into the early natural history of arteriosclerosis, which was to become known as the Bogalusa Heart Study, received its initial funding as a Specialized Center of Research-Arteriosclerosis (SCOR-A) of the National Institutes of Health.
