- THE CANCER INSTITUTE of New Jersey (CINJ) was established in 1991 and is one of 39 National Cancer Institute (NCI)–designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States. CINJ provides comprehensive cancer care to children and adults, and CINJ scientists engage in clinical, laboratory, prevention, population, and translational research.
