Center on Budget and Policies Priorities
Definition
- THE CENTER ON BUDGET and Policies Priorities (CBPP) is a nonpartisan research organization in the United States that was established in 1981 to identify federal budget priorities, particularly with respect to lower-income American families. The CBPP's brief has expanded considerably since that time, and its members now conduct research into a wide range of areas, at state and federal levels, as well as the interactions between the two levels of government.
