Clinton Correctional Facility
Definition
- Clinton Prison, as it was known until 1970, is the largest and third oldest of New York State's 70 correctional facilities. Often called Dannemora for the town in which it is located, or Little Siberia for the punishing northern climate of the region, Clinton Prison is a maximum-security facility that houses New York State's most violent and dangerous criminals.
