Definition
- The College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD), an interdisciplinary research society, is the oldest organization in the United States to address problems of drug abuse and dependence. Formerly called the Committee on Problems of Drug Dependence, it began in 1929 as part of the National Academy of Sciences before becoming an independent organization in 1976.
