Definition
- Various Native tribes lived within or in close proximity to the Confederate States of America (C.S.A.) during its existence from 1861 to 1865. The most numerous and powerful of these nations resided in the Indian Territory, present-day Oklahoma, a critical location to the west of Confederate Arkansas and to the north of Confederate Texas.
