Cotonou Agreement
Definition
- The Cotonou Agreement was signed in Cotonou, Benin, on June 23, 2000, and revised in 2005. It is a cooperation agreement between the European Community and its member states and the 78 African, Caribbean, and Pacific countries (the ACP), most of whom are former European colonies.
