- 19??– E-Commerce Researcher and Analyst Donna Hoffman is a psychologist and management professor at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. A leading authority on e-commerce and a pioneer in Web research, Hoffman has been hailed by Newsweek as one of the 50 “people who matter most on the Internet.” After receiving a Ph.D. in quantitative psychology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Hoffman made important contributions to psychometric research methods for modeling customer perception.
