Easter
Definition
- Easter, like Christmas, juxtaposes religious and secular rituals in ways that are no longer easy to tease apart. Easter is considered the most important religious holiday for Christians, and symbolizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, but the celebration of Easter long preceded the Christian religion.
