- The European Network on Law and Society (Réseau Européen Droit et Société or RED&S) developed from the French Circle of Sociology and Legal Nomology (Cercle de Sociologie et de Nomologie Juridiques). Today, RED&S has members from forty countries; most of those outside Europe are from the two American continents.
