- DefinitionEuropol is the criminal intelligence organization of the European Union, established with a mandate to support Member States in working together to control transnational organized crime and terrorism. Its headquarters are in The Hague, in the Netherlands, where its over 500 personnel include Europol Liaison Officers seconded from the law enforcement agencies of the Member States.
