  • Felix Frankfurter (1882–1965) was an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Named to the Court by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Frankfurter's decisions reflected his belief in the importance of judicial restraint, as well as the value of federalism in policy making.
