Florida v. Casal
Definition
- In a per curiam opinion in Florida v. Casal, 462 U.S. 637 (1983), the U.S. Supreme Court decided to dismiss a case after deciding that it should not have accepted it for review because the judgment of the lower court rested on adequate and independent state grounds.
