Definition
- The first-person shooter game GoldenEye 007, released by Rare in 1997, was the overall highest-selling game for the Nintendo 64 console and remains one of the most popular movie tie-in games to date. Although the game is based primarily on the narrative and settings of the James Bond film GoldenEye (Martin Campbell, 2005), it includes characters and situations inspired by the Bond series of films and books as a whole.
