- Hans Küng is a Swiss theologian and Roman Catholic priest and the author of numerous books on Christianity, world religions, and global ethics. He was a professor in the Catholic faculty at the University of Tübingen from 1960 until 1979, when his license to teach Catholic theology was rescinded by the Vatican.
