Herman D. Suit
Definition
- A PROMINENT U.S. radiotherapist, Herman Suit was the winner of the Charles F. Kettering Prize of the General Motors Cancer Foundation in 1997 for “demonstrating the efficacy of combined regional resection and radiotherapy in the non-amputative treatment of patients with extremity sarcomas.” Herman Day Suit was born on February 8, 1929, at Houston, Texas, the son of Lewis and Willie Suit.
