Definition
- An illicit drug is defined as a drug that is manufactured, sold, possessed, or used illegally. Marijuana, cocaine, heroin, hallucinogens, and inhalants are categorized as illicit drugs along with prescription pain relievers, tranquilizers, stimulants, and sedatives when used for nonmedical purposes.
