- THE JAPANESE GASTRIC Cancer Association (JGCA) is a scientific association that promotes basic and clinical research on gastric cancer. It was established in 1962 as the Japanese Research Society for Gastric Cancer; at that time it was a closed association whose membership consisted of 352 Japanese organizations.
