- The Latin American Network on Law and Society (LANL&S; Red Latinoamericana de Derecho y Sociedad), created in 2000, is one of the most important online networks in Latin America related to issues concerning law and society. This network has an electronic presence and infrastructure with its Web site—Portal on Law and Society—which is sponsored by the International Institute on Law and Society (Instituto Internacional de Derecho y Sociedad).
