Louis Farrakhan
Definition
- Controversial and outspoken African American leader of the Nation of Islam who has gained a position of some prominence in the United States and abroad. Farrakhan is perhaps best know for the Million Man March he organized in 1995, an event aimed at instilling a sense of pride and respect for others among African American men of all ages.
