Definition
- Myanmarese Americans are immigrants and their descendants from Myanmar (formerly Burma), a country of 49.8 million as of 2007 estimates. According to the 2000 census, there were 32,590 people born in Myanmar resident in the United States, of whom 57.5% were citizens.
