Definition
- The National Police Gazette was a tabloid newspaper aimed at lower- and middle-class American men. From the late 19th century through the early 20th century, the Gazette exerted a huge influence on American popular culture, titillating readers with scandalous news of sex, crime, politics, and illegal sporting events.
