Northern Africa
Definition
- The geography of north Africa is not easy to define. If one takes the lands that border the southern Mediterranean Sea to comprise north Africa, one has encompassed Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco, but the Romans discarded this scheme early on, defining north Africa as Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
